Into the crash - A silent prayer.

I remember that I closed my eyes and said inwardly: Please God, let me see and walk. Then I will do what you say, and I will dedicate my life to where and what really matters.

It was a Moment suspended in time, like a fleeting pause before the collision unfolded. We were on a collision course, hurtling towards a fate that I couldn't escape. The air crackled with tension, and I could sense the impending collision looming closer. The realization hit me like a sudden gust of wind in those brief seconds, as the world seemed to hold its breath, my mind was clear and focused. But amidst the chaos, a calm voice whispered from deep within me, urging me to surrender to the moment. With a heart heavy with uncertainty and somehow light and empty at the same I closed my eyes and uttered a silent prayer to the universe. It was a pled born out of desperation and a glimmer of hope, a humble request for guidance in the face of impending disaster.

"Please God, let me see and walk," I whispered into the void, my words carried away by the wind. In that moment, I made a silent vow – a promise to dedicate my life to a purpose greater than myself, to follow the path laid out before me with unwavering faith and determination.

The impact was swift and brutal jolting me from my reverie and thrusting me into a whirlwind of noise and confusion. And then there was the searing heat of the sun, its rays beating down mercilessly upon my exposed skin. As each ray of sunlight pierced through the shattered glass, it intensified the searing sensation that engulfed the left side of my face. The shards of glass embedded in my skin, mingling with the open wounds, created a fiery inferno of pain and discomfort. Every beam of light seemed to magnify the agony, casting a harsh spotlight on the raw, exposed flesh. Each moment felt like an eternity as I grappled with the intense burning sensation, unable to escape the relentless assault on my senses.

But amidst the wreckage, I found myself standing, shaken but unharmed. It was a miracle – a testament to the power of faith and the resilience of the human spirit. And in that moment of clarity, I knew that my life had been forever changed. And as I walked the path laid out before me, I found solace in the knowledge that I was exactly where I was meant to be.

As I reflect on those moments, I am reminded of the profound impact they had on my journey. (1997)

They were not merely isolated incidents, but rather threads woven into the fabric of my being, shaping my character and guiding my actions. Slowly but surely, I began to discern the contours of my path, the purpose that lay hidden beneath the surface of everyday existence. It was a journey of self-discovery, of unraveling the mysteries of my own heart and soul, and of embracing the fullness of life's potential.

It's a common misconception to view the challenges and trials we face as punishments for some perceived wrongdoing. I, too, once fell into that trap of thinking. But now I realize that such thinking only leads to victimhood and a sense of powerlessness. It's a mindset that renders us weak and susceptible to external influences, robbing us of our inherent strength and worth.

Instead of seeing adversity as punishment, I've come to understand that it's actually an opportunity for growth and self-discovery. We're not here to cower in fear but to rise above it, mastering our fears and reclaiming our power. We're deeply loved by the universe, crafted from the same cosmic fabric that weaves through the stars and galaxies. This realization is liberating—it reminds us of our boundless potential and innate resilience.

Every experience, whether joyful or challenging, holds valuable lessons and insights meant to deepen our understanding of ourselves and the world around us. It's not about punishment; it's about empowerment. When we take control of our thoughts and beliefs, we harness the true essence of our being and unlock the gifts that life has to offer.

Life itself is a precious gift, and every moment, every breath, is an opportunity to cherish and appreciate its beauty. Instead of dwelling on what we lack or what we've lost, let's embrace the abundance that surrounds us and approach each day with gratitude and reverence. After all, life is not a burden to bear but a blessing to savor, each moment a reminder of the infinite possibilities that lie within us.

Love, Rosa🌹
